Are You IPv6 Ready?

To view any Web page, like http://areyou.v6ready.info, your computer has to turn the host name, areyou.v6ready.info, into the numeric IP address of our server. Most servers only have one of these addresses, but ours has two: one using IPv4, and one using IPv6. Our server detects whether your computer used IPv6 or IPv4 to view this Web site. If you used IPv6, congratulations! It means:
  • Your computer's operating system supports IPv6.
  • Your computer has IPv6 turned on.
  • Your Web browser supports IPv6, and is configured to prefer IPv6 to IPv4 when both are available.
  • You have an IPv6 connection to the Internet, which could be a real "native" connection from your ISP or a tunnel. Some operating systems automatically provide tunnels, so you might already have IPv6 without knowing it.
  • Your Internet router, if you have one, supports IPv6 communication and addresses.

SORRY!

You are not yet IPv6 ready!

Our live calculation works out that IPv6 usage is split as follows
YES 3.1%     NO 96.9%
